Discover a new way home. Public Service Credit Union is thrilled to be offering a brand new type of mortgage: a Capped Variable Rate Mortgage.

Discover a New Way Home

For first time buyers, for movers, for switchers, for anyone who needs one. The type of mortgage we offer is a new mortgage offering in Ireland: a Capped Variable Rate Mortgage.

So, what’s that? Simply put, it offers all the flexibility of a variable mortgage but with the peace of mind that comes with a fixed rate, as your repayments will not exceed a stated rate within the first three years. Our current rate is 3.85% (APRC* 3.92%) capped at 4.40% (APRC 4.5%) for 3 years.

As you know, we pride ourselves on our customer service and personal touch, but there are even more reasons why a credit union mortgage might be for you:

  • We are owned by our members, so this is a mortgage by people, for people.
  • No hidden fees.
  • Fortnightly or monthly repayment options.
  • No penalties for early repayment.

*APRC (Annual Percentage Rate Charge) is the total cost of credit to the consumer, expressed as an annual percentage of the total amount of credit. It includes interest and all standard fees payable by the consumer in connection with the loan.
