Third level education is exciting for the student but it can also be expensive. Public Service Credit Union (PSCU) recognises this burden and is delighted to announce our 18th Education Prize Draw with a Prize Fund of €70,000.

The Seamus P. MacEoin Third Level Education Prize Draw honours Seamus, a Public Servant, who was a founder of the credit union movement in Ireland and also a founding member of the original Public Service Credit Union, the first workplace credit union in Ireland.

Terms and Conditions

• The education cash prizes of €2,000 each shall be decided by a draw.

• Entries are open to members on behalf of themselves or their children if a full time third level course is being pursued. This includes full-time post-graduate courses.

• Entries are limited to one per student.

• Evidence of acceptance at third level plus a copy of fee payment must be provided by all the winners.

• All winners shall be available for promotional purposes with PSCU.

• The winning students will receive an EFT to their bank account, to the value of €2,000 once proof of registration is available.

• The third level institution may be any of the institutions as set out by the CAO. It may also be an equivalent college outside of Ireland.

• The decision of the board of directors of the Public Service Credit Union is final. The board also reserves the right to make any adjustments or amendments to these rules as is necessary, at any time.

• Closing date for entries is Friday 25th September 2026.
